I never got hungry for lunch, probably because I ate more for breakfast than usual, or more filling things, so I just never ate lunch!

 

Dinner

  • 3 (!) small burritos, on WrapItz brand Whole Wheat tortillas, with homemade re-fried beans, romaine lettuce, guacamole (just mashed up avocados mixed with cilantro, lime juice and a little salt), and On the Border brand medium salsa

I didn’t feel too bad about eating 3 burritos since between the two of us, my husband and I ate a whole head of romaine on our burritos. :)

  • for dessert, a tortilla warmed up with Earth Balance margarine and a little honey on it

  • ~2 oz raw almonds

Lunch

  • ~2 c Curried Carrot Apple Soup, leftover from last night
  • 2 whole wheat pitas, heated in the toaster, with a little Earth Balance margarine on each

Snack

Dinner

We went out tonight, to one of our favorite restaurants: a local chain that serves pizza and calzones.

  • 4 pieces (they were small) of pizza, with whole wheat crust, light cheese, tomatoes, roasted garlic, basil, pesto and roasted corn

I’m really fighting emotional eating today. Dealing with some heavy personal stuff and this morning I just really wanted to eat something “bad”. What it would have been, I don’t know. I settled for the cornbread, which isn’t ideal but I wouldn’t classify it as “bad” either.
