Thoughts on My Food and Exercise Logs
I wrote about three weeks ago that my food log would be on hold until August 15… I didn’t quite make it by August 15! There are a couple of reasons for this. For one, I walked while I was visiting my sister, but when I came back home and tried to run, it was significantly harder than I expected it to be. It’s almost like I hadn’t even been exercising all summer at all! That frustrated me IMMENSELY, and I just had to stop trying to run for awhile. I’ve walked a bit since then but not regularly. For another, I’ve been devoting a lot of emotional energy to some pretty heavy stuff that’s going on in my family. As a result I haven’t had a lot of emotional or physical energy left for a food log, let alone for eating according to
