Exercise Log Day Eight
46-minute run/walk with Tim in the park near his parents’ house. Tim usually does intermittent training (IT), so I suggested that since we pushed pretty hard yesterday we do IT today. When we used to do IT together based on his heart rate zone, it was pretty easy for me. It seems the tables have turned! Either he’s caught up (which is great) or I’ve slacked off more than I realized… Today’s workout felt even harder than yesterday’s. Could be too that this is the first time I’ve run two days in a row in WEEKS. Regardless, it sort of bruised my ego. But Tim admitted feeling proud!
- 5 minute warmup, walking
- run/walk IT according to Tim’s heart rate–he’s currently working in the 153-163 range (but mine seemed to settled in at 160-170!)
- ~5 minute cool down, walking
320 calories, average HR 150, TE 3.4
