Hummus

Based on the recipe in Eat to Live by Dr. Joel Fuhrman.

  • 1 can garbanzo beans (reserve liquid in separate container)
  • 1 tbsp tahini or ground sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 garlic cloves

Put all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth, adding bean liquid as needed or to desired thickness. Great on pita sandwiches, crackers or vegetables.
