Cabbage and Walnut Saute
This recipe also came from the Lifestyle Center of America; it’s about the only way I could ever eat cooked cabbage!
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, diced
- 8 c cabbage, chopped into 1/2 inch pieces (about 1 small head)
- 2 tbsp McKay’s chicken-style seasoning
- 3/4 to 1 c water
- 1/4 c raw walnuts, chopped
In a wok or large frying pan, saute garlic and onion in oil until tender. Add cabbage, seasoning and water and stir fry about 5 minutes or until tender. Add walnuts prior to serving.
