Just as I finished getting ready to leave the house yesterday afternoon to run some errands and work at Panera for a change of scenery, the floodgates were opened. It rained so hard that our front yard became a riverbed–not just a creek running down the side of the driveway like it usually does in a heavy rain, but a sheet of water flowing down the front yard onto the sidewalk in front of the house! (We have some drainage issues…)
